MedShare, begun in 1998, is dedicated to recycling surplus medical supplies and equipment for use by healthcare institutions in developing countries.

In 2005, MedShare moved into a 50,000 square-foot facility and is on track to ship 60 forty-foot medical containers, each typically having a value of $150,000. In addition, an independent research study conducted through the School of Public Health at Emory University confirms that 95% of MedShare respondents have high overall satisfaction with MedShare. To date, MedShare has served 87 countries and countless patients.
